Message from the President
“Manufacturing is not completed simply by installing the latest machines.”
I, who liked new and unusual things, purchased VR5A-6M from Mitsui Seiki, which was the latest and most unusual machine at that time, and started business as a local tool and fixture shop here in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture, an area rich in nature surrounded by Mt. Fuji and Mt. Yatsugatake.
Adhering to our motto “Faithful, Diligent, and Long-lasting,” we have continued to take on the challenge of difficult processing, and thanks to all the support we have received, we are proud to celebrate 44 years of business. We still place utmost importance on the spirit of “Faithful, Diligent, and Long-lasting.”
We have gradually expanded our business from a tool and fixture shop to include semiconductors, electronic devices, and vacuum equipment parts, and in the future, we look to develop our business promoting industry-academia-government collaborative initiatives as a challenge to cutting-edge technology.
We have also actively incorporated SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and promoted sustainable growth by encouraging employees, especially those involved in products, that they have interesting jobs that allows them to find their own enjoyment and build things based on logic.
“You can’t manufacture good products just by installing the latest machines.”
Shouwa Seiki believes that manufacturing is only completed when there are people who have learned every aspect of processing technology, and when the techniques of processing technology are transferred to machines by human hands.
This has been the past and the present and will continue to be the future.
Shouwa Seiki will continue to move forward, combining the latest technology that changes day by day with processing technology we have cultivated, so that we can be a company that is trusted by our employees and the world, and can grow sustainably together.
Shouwa Seiki Y.K.
